PICEA GLAUCA BLUE TEARDROP
Grower Notes:
Picea glauca 'Blue Teardrop' is commonly referred to as Blue Teardrop White Spruce. It is a hardy, dwarf white spruce with a tight, upright habit. A sport of Picea glauca 'Echiniformis', it features very small, blue-green needles with dense branching, making it look very much like a miniature Christmas tree. It grows only 3-6 inches per year with an approximate mature size of 6 feet tall and 3 feet wide.
Blue Teardrop White Spruce is easy to grow and thrives in full sun to partial shade in average, evenly moist, well-drained soils. It should not be allowed to dry out.
